Guest Speaker: Natasha Dowie

Natasha is the current women’s ambassador for Liverpool FC, 

but began her career as a footballer for Watford. 

Natasha is well known for playing for both Everton and Liverpool.

Natasha finished as the top scorer in the 2013 FA WSL with 13 goals and 14 games for Liverpool. 

She was voted the FA Players’ Player of the Year. 
She has also played for teams Doncaster Rovers, Boston Breakers and Linkopings FC. 

She has also played for England. 

She made her debut in a World Cup qualifier against Turkey in November 2009. 

Outside of her professional career, she has worked as a coach with Watford, 

the Middlesex Centre of Excellence and Stevenage Borough. 

Natasha announced her retirement from the game in September 2023 

and became Liverpool’s first official women’s ambassador. 

As Liverpool’s all-time top goalscorer, her impact is undeniable. 

We are thrilled to welcome Natasha to the 2024 Liverpool Sportswoman’s Lunch as our guest speaker. 

Natasha will be speaking about her incredible career, particularly about her experience playing for Liverpool.

Darren Proctor is a radio presenter on Happy Radio, live on weekdays from 10-1pm. 
If there's something going on across Manchester and Cheshire – Darren will know about it. 
Darren hosts a lot of the events in the area and you can see him DJing at various bars or turning parks 
like the Royal Cheshire County Show or the Hale Barns Carnival fields into Nightclubs with his legendary Grown-up Disco. 

Darren started out in the industry as a club DJ in 1990, where he was voted "Young DJ of the year" 
and in the past 30 years has performed DJ sets at venues and events across Europe, 
including performances at The Manchester Arena and Festivals across the country. 
 

Darren is well known for his engaging radio shows, previously with Bauer's Greatest Hits Radio, Key 103, 
and Radio City, his North West Breakfast Show on Century FM 
and presenting the Pepsi Chart Show across the UK.
